photexo command camera options indir outdir

commands

• copy: copy the files to the destination. This will keep the original photos in the original directopry.

• modify: keep files in place but change their name This will give the photos new names in the original directopry. Hence the outdir parameter is not needed and not used.

• move: move files to destination. All photos it recognized will be moved to the output directory and the original directory will be empty.

• report: dry-run and print a report of the expected actions. This is specially useful for testing.

camera

The information is in cameras.json

• magic For most cameras this does nothing.

This feature was created due to some old (now obsolete) devices.
An old phone added some useless whitespace in the comment field. When the program detected this device it whipes the field clean.
An old camera added digical data in one field, when the program detect this device it erase the field.

indir

The directory where photexo expect to find the input photos.

outdir

The main directory where photexo will save the photo's.

note

The original file-extensions are preserved.

Options:

-e = use EXIF info only.
-f = use system file-date only.
